Webb brings a wealth of experience, an enthusiasm in pop culture, and passion about what is new and creating what’s next. Additionally, MARB MKTG has promoted Caitlin Blackford to Head of PR, recognizing her outstanding contributions and leadership within the company for more than four years. Caitlin’s first hire is, a Sr. Publicity Manager, Courtney Firth, who is bringing her talents to the South. These recent additions and promotions underscore MARB MKTG’s commitment to delivering exceptional results for clients by quality team members.
Webb Bankemper joins AVE EAST MKTG from the live events industry, where he has over 5 years of experience as a Marketing and Live Events Manager working primarily in the non-profit sector, focusing on Marketing and Creative Event Production for theater companies, symphonies, and other charitable organizations, such as Studio Tenn Theatre Company, the Tennessee Performing Arts Center, and Matt Logan Productions. Webb was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee and grew up in Franklin with a 1.5 year hiatus working in the New York Theatre and Live Events scene before moving back to Nashville to be closer to family.
AVE WEST PR, (formerly The Avenue West), a product-centric Public Relations agency based in Nashville, is pleased to welcome Courtney Firth. With six years of experience in the dynamic world of New York City publicity, Courtney brings a wealth of expertise in media relations and campaign execution. Throughout her career, she has worked with a diverse range of high-profile brands, including YouTube sensation and entrepreneur MrBeast, as well as the popular snack brand Pipcorn. Her extensive background in securing impactful media placements, crafting compelling narratives, and driving strategic publicity initiatives aligns with AVE WEST PR’s commitment to expanding its influence in the lifestyle and consumer goods sectors.
Caitlin Blackford was promoted to run the Publicity department personally by her predecessor, Sara Jordan Jacobson, who has transitioned to lead PR efforts for Trend Management in Nashville. Caitlin has been with the company since 2020 and approaches her fifth year with the company as Head of PR. Caitlin led the launch of Dolly Parton’s Pinterest page in 2023, and she was instrumental in the award-winning campaign for the launch of the global superstar’s TikTok profile. The campaign was the most successful celebrity launch on TikTok to date and won a Clio Music Award in the Public Relations category, the 2023 PR News Award for Viral Campaign of the Year, and a Webby Awards Honoree in the category ‘Best Viral PR Campaign.’
